started watching <a href="https://neodb.social/search?r=1&q=https://eggplant.place/tv/7GZtYgPUrDH6crMs6Ho4Po" rel="nofollow">Voyage of the Continents</a> This seems like a good <a href="/tags/documentary/" rel="tag">#documentary</a> series on <a href="/tags/geology/" rel="tag">#geology</a>. Not quite the production quality of the BBC though, is there anything similar produced by them?

Times like these make me want to spend even more time around rocks. Rocks are Good People, Man! I can always count on them to just keep on keeping on. These were seen just 5 days ago in Tucson, Gem and Mineral Show, a venue off Oracle. One gets jaded over the years to seeing thousands of vugs and geodes of crystals. But still a bit of my heart skips to see them. <a href="/tags/geology/" rel="tag">#Geology</a> <a href="/tags/tucson/" rel="tag">#Tucson</a> <a href="/tags/gemshow/" rel="tag">#GemShow</a> <a href="/tags/crystals/" rel="tag">#Crystals</a>

Giant vugs and geodes of purple quartz crystals mostly amethyst. Tallest here is centered on display in a warehouse. It’s about 13’ tall and 3’ wide, opening from dark gray matrix stone to reveal many thousands of dark purple crystals lining the cavity. Other large pieces are nearby. In the back area a man shows the scale of these.

As in previous photo, this view of a warehouse displays scores of large dark geodes and vugs of crystals mostly purple amethyst. Photo shows tables covered with specimens for sale and the center shows many giant pieces on tables, pallets and pedestals.
