<p>Got spam emails this morning by someone who opened an issue on GitHub with what was probably a very unsafe link and then just tagged dozens of users over and over and over. Why we needed 50 copies in a row of the same notification, IDK. Atlassian decided to vomit AI all over Jira so I decided to mop it up with uBlock Origin. So far so good. <p>Maybe we need to re-evalute just how reliable <a href="/tags/github/" rel="tag">#GitHub</a> is.<br>This is after opening a few projects from search results, reading some readmes, looking at 1-2 releases. Quite ironic that they have issues with scraping.</p>
