<p>ACAB se ha convertido en el slogan de Internet para denunciar el abuso policial. </p><p>Se ve que incluso en el campo subversivo, contestatario, el mundo anglosajón logra imponer su hegemonía cultural, y cada ACAB evoca hoy, sobre todo, las fechorías de las policías estadounidenses. </p><p>Mientras, desde el tercer mundo profundo, surgen otras denuncias del abuso policial extremo, no tan espectaculares como los shorts de las detenciones los ICE pero quizás más representativas de cómo lo sufre la mayor parte de la población mundial. </p><p>Hablo en concreto de “Santosh”, la película de la directora británica-india Sandhya Suri que representa al Reino Unido en los Oscar de 2025, y que ha sido fuertemente censurada en India.</p><p>“Santosh” cuenta la historia de dos mujeres policías que investigan la violación y asesinato de una mujer de la casta baja en una zona rural de India. </p><p>Si damos crédito a esta película, en este país hay sectores de la población para los que no existe la justicia. </p><p>Para los que no se busca esclarecer quién fue el culpable, sino solo encontrar a un chivo expiatorio al que linchar. </p><p>Donde las castas mas altas delinquen con impunidad y a las más bajas se les niega la más básica seguridad jurídica. </p><p>Y donde la policía funciona como una casta privilegiada más, que se regodea pisoteando a aquellos que más necesitarían de su protección. </p><p>“Santosh”, además, muestra cómo las nuevas generaciones son asimiladas para perpetuar un modus operandi policial que parece sacado de la Edad Media. </p><p>Y cómo sus atrocidades se maquillan con renovaciones cosméticas, como la incorporación al cuerpo de mujeres policías. </p><p>Según Reddit, la expresión “ACAB” no se usa en la India. </p><p>Un eslógan que sí es utilizado allí para rechazar la represión policial es: “mera desh, mera samvidhan” (mi país, mi constitución). </p><p>Viéndola he pensado que la India -hoy el país más poblado del mundo- ocupa un lugar casi inexistente en nuestra actualidad internacional sobre DDHH. </p><p><a href="/tags/cine/" rel="tag">#Cine</a> <a href="/tags/india/" rel="tag">#India</a> <a href="/tags/acab/" rel="tag">#ACAB</a></p>
