<p>In 2025, Newport Folk Festival expects 20% of attendees to arrive by bike. That increase is due in large part to indie-rock duo Illiterate Light and their bike-powered stage—and in 2025, <a href="/tags/illiteratelight/" rel="tag">#IlliterateLight</a>'s <a href="/tags/roadtonewport/" rel="tag">#RoadToNewport</a> ride, starting July 7 in <a href="/tags/harrisonburgvirginia/" rel="tag">#HarrisonburgVirginia</a>, continuing through <a href="/tags/baltimoremaryland/" rel="tag">#BaltimoreMaryland</a> July 13, <a href="/tags/asburyparknewjersey/" rel="tag">#AsburyParkNewJersey</a> July 18, reaching <a href="/tags/newportrhodeisland/" rel="tag">#NewportRhodeIsland</a> July 25.
