Tear gas — currently being deployed in Minneapolis — can cause long-term health consequences by making people more susceptible to contracting respiratory illnesses.
The chemical agent can also hurt people inside their homes if it seeps into residential neighborhoods.

Right now, there's not a lot I can do about the horrors happening in Minnesota, but I can donate to help people there survive financially. I added another $50 to this fund organized and vetted by Heidi Li Feldman.

Due to the nature of my work, whether I show up for work today or not in solidarity with Minnesota changes almost nothing, but it does give me an avenue to say something so here's my email auto-reply.

@fkamiah17 Accurate : My "insider" is my brother who lives in MSP. He is calling it "Eternal January". They are not stopping what they are doing, just changing tactics.
Meanwhile, in Colorado, we are trying to learn from MSP resident actions.
We keep us safe - Colorado is standing up resistance channels in preparation of similar scale operations.
