Funnier than I thought it would be from the opening 20 minutes, and a surprisingly satisfying conclusion. Let James Marsden do more comedies.

Rated The Bedford Incident 8/10

The tension crackles alongside some great performances, and the ending is phenomenal. An obvious influence on the rash of 90s sub dramas, most obviously Crimson Tide, with Hackman giving an almost carbon copy of the excellent Widmark performance here.
