I can't help but love a film about indigenous sisterhood triumphing over the evils of colonialism. The music and sound design also helped elevate it even more.

If you want historical accuracy in fiction—especially in the alternate reality genre—go watch documentaries or read an encylopedia.

Rated Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender 8/10

I think it was generally a pretty good movie. I think it was rather derivative TLoK, but it did still make for a good story. I was worried that it was going to be entirely self-contained, but it did actually bring some connection to the rest of the story so that's great.

I don't know if, from a technical standpoint, that it was well done, but I'm not really focused on that, I'm just focused on a good story, and that's what it was.

so schlecht das er schon fast ok ist. die besetzung ist hochkarätig, das drehbuch bemüht, die musik 80er und man bemüht sich ernsthaft nicht allzu ernsthaft zu wirken. ich muss zugeben, ich hab ein, zwei mal herzhaft gelacht und ich habe bis zum ende durchgehalten. das schaffen die wenigsten wirklich schlechten filme — ausser ich bin in einem kino eingesperrt.den film kann man sich gut sparen, aber genauso gut ansehen, wenn man nichts besseres mit seinem leben anfangen kann.
