*** Fully funded. Thank you 💕 ***

[Pledged: $600/month of $600/month. Patrons: 17]

Let’s try something different: Looking for pledges to become patrons for one of our volunteers at Gaza Verified*, @aseelfromgz, so we can move her and her family out of living in a damp, unsafe tent and into an apartment.

Aseel’s family needs to pay $600/month rent if they’re to afford the apartment they’ve found. And I’d like them to not have to worry if they’re going to be homeless again next month if they can’t raise enough from the kindness of strangers every month.

So let’s try something new: If you’re willing and able to become a patron and pledge to donate a set amount so they can afford this apartment, please reply to this thread.

I’ll start us off: I pledge to become a regular patron and donate $50/month to help cover Aseel’s rent.

If 11 of you match my pledge, we can move Aseel and her family out of a tent and into the safety of a real home.

What do you say? :)

💕

Omar says that not a lot of donations come in from Mastodon. what happened to our culture of mutual aid here? why aren't there more donations? do people here not care about Palestinian lives?

if you can donate any amount, please do it today. if you can't, then boost this post.

Whoops, I've been using bill money on groceries again. ._.
(But the place that prescribes my brain meds has been steadfastly refusing to actually charge me for a late bill so maybe I can just put that money toward next month's bill, assuming they don't cancel my account.)

Either way, this week's plasma donation money will cover this upcoming bill or enough groceries to keep us fed till snap renews next week, but not both, so I have to pass the hat again.

Bills: $100/180
Food: $0/100

Anything helps, even (especially) boosting this post. <3

I really don't like asking, but things are getting extremely tight for my wife and me while I continue pitching Enigma Heart to publishers and looking for a backup job at the same time. (Luck hasn't been so great on that front.) We're close to running out of savings, and rent and food are coming due.

If you can help, and you've got a few dollars to spare, it'd really help keep us afloat. Thanks! 🩷

if you can forgive us for posting our Kofi one more time, we didn't get any sales on the game in May and we wont see any money from the load of sales we have planned this month until July, so in the meantime, we're in a bind. Sorry to have to post again!

We are all trying to get an ounce of attention back on Gaza. This is an urgent project for kids who survived occupation torture camps (prison). I'm partnered with a psychologist who will bring these kids mental health workshops & more!

Make it happen: https://chuffed.org/project/hmg

Palestinians in Gaza need more food, every day! Israel has used attacking Iran as cover to close the Rafah crossing, which is the only way food gets into Gaza.

Please forgive me, I'm truly sorry for bothering you. I'm sorry to bother you, brother, but I desperately need your help. My family consists of 19 members, including children. Please help me and contribute enough money for the holy month of Ramadan. Hey Fediverse, I'm a disabled dude from Argentina, so I'm twice fucked. 💔

I'm just asking for anyone here to chip in and help me make some ends meet for the next week.

My goal is to reach $200, as I need them to pay some debt and eat something else than boiled rice.

If anyone here wants to help, here's my crowdfunders:

* https://ko-fi.com/beckermatic
* https://liberapay.com/beckermatic/

Also, you can donate directly to my Paypal: https://paypal.me/beckermatic

And, if you live in Argentina, straight to my bank account, in Argentine pesos, via alias CBU beckermatic.

If you cannot help at the time, please, give it a RT, so I can reach more people.

I just want to have some dignity back in my life. Dignity taken away by Milei and their damn cronies.

🦨we're having to forego our "2025 IRS taxes" goal for "we're gonna need money for the rest of the month" goal. usually we get money from Steam at the end of the month to help, but we didn't make enough in February, so we wont have that income
