An interesting set of matches this week with some playoff implications. In Group A, a win for Usagi Tsukino (One Piece) could have her clinch a playoff spot, but not unless Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail) has something to say. And in Group B, it's a battle for first place once more between Rin Okumura (Blue Exorcist) and Roronoa Zoro (One Piece).

Group A: https://rb.gy/zyr2rs
Group B: https://rb.gy/45ikmv

#BattleOfTheWeek #BOTW2025 #SailorMoon #FairyTail #BlueExorcist #OnePiece #Anime

My name is Sashin.

I am functioning as a software developer but I am an aspiring writer.

I am passionate about clear communication, left-wing politics (anarchism, human rights and anti-bigotry), free software and animal rights.

I want to develop a deep understanding about how the world works, spread that knowledge and work towards making it a better place.

I love anime and manga.

My favourite manga is #onepiece which I have been reading every week since I was in highschool.

My favourite anime is probably The Tatami Galaxy.

I also like Ping Pong the Animation, Kino's Journey, Cowboy Bebop, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, Gintama and many others.

I am have been learning Japanese largely on my own for the last five years. I've changed around how I have been approaching it, but have settled on immersion (lots of watching and listening to content in the language) as the best way.

I do flashcards everyday using Anki, where I learn ten new words and review words I already know and I am basically always listening to something in Japanese so long as I am not interacting with people or doing something that commands a lot of attention (so while walking, cleaning, cooking etc I am always listening, I also have a shower speaker). I don't do anything every special with my attention when immersing, I think the subconscious is where the magic of language acquisition happens.

I also love video games, I have a steam deck which I have more or less perpetually docked and connected to my housemate's projector. My favourite game is probably Undertale. I also love The Witcher 3, The Legend of Zelda and Hollow Knight.

Anyway it's nice to meet everyone!

よろしくお願いします!

#introduction #intro #introductions
