'SLAINS CASTLE'

A photograph of Slains Castle standing dramatically on the cliffs above the North Sea in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Viewed from the air, the castle’s ruined stone walls and unusual layout are clearly visible, perched right on the edge of the rugged cliffs. Beyond it, the wide open landscape of the Buchan coast stretches into the distance, while turquoise sea surrounds the rocky shoreline below.

#SanFrancisco #Presidio #TunnelTopsPark

A black and white photo of a smooth, curved wooden structure against a clear sky. The structure looks almost dome like, with the boards running horizontally. In front of the dome, bottom of the frame are a couple tall grasses. Behind the dome, in the distance, we can see the southern tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, with its cables curving down. An interesting detail is the way a couple seams in the wooden structure, and the curve of the structure itself, seem to mirror the curving cables of the bridge. The Presidio Tunnel Tops Park is a really wonderful addition to the city of San Francisco, that just keeps getting better. Wouldn't it be nice to convert more military bases into beautiful parks?

Rainy day in Hong Kong
#Photography #StreetPhotography #Photographie #Photographie #Darktable #UrbanPhotography #Rain #RainyDay #HongKongPhotography #HongKong

Photograph of a street corner under the rain, in daytime. A deliveryman drives a scooter on the street. Droplets of rain form a myriad of minuscule white spots in the image. Their impacts also form small splashes on the ground. In the foreground, blurry because of the depth-of-field, a woman holding up an umbrella walks away from the camera, under the shade of an unseen streetside building. Behind the scooter and the opposite sidewalk of the street, vehicles are parked on the side of a park which constitutes a green background to the image.

Descripción en #alttext

#photography #photo #fotografia #blackandwhite #bnwphotography #bnw #monochrome #blancoynegro #streetphotography #architecture #cityscape #travel #landscape #sunset
