A color film photograph taken with my Nikon F3 using FujiFilm 400. In soft focus, the golden sunlight of autumn streaks across the frame clusters of hexagonal dots off light through rusty fall leaves hanging on to otherwise skeletal tree branches. A drop of water is slowly growing at the end of a thin knobby branch. All around is a jumble of autumnal sighs, appreciating the sun. (Photo taken September 2024; post May 19 2026)

On a beautiful road bike ride this morning.

Monterey (CA) and Pacific Grove on the peninsula across the Monterey Bay looking south east from New Brighton State Beach.

Imagine how much better the world would be if politicians, corporate executives, and pretty much everyone got out on a day like this for a bike ride, a run, a dog walk, or simply a leisurely stroll in the morning sunshine.
