Photograph of a facade detail on the German Church in Stockholm. The perspective is tricky to determine at first but we're looking at the corner of a wall, straight up. A gargoyle extends from the roof giving a general direction to the image going to the right. The wall itself is a high contrast mix of parts in the shadows and parts in the light.

Say hello to Barbie Pig, a new type of sea cucumber discovered on the deep-sea floor by a team from the Natural History Museum in London. The frilly-footed fuchsia beauty was filmed by a robot on the Pacific seabed, 5km deep, in an area called the Clarion-Clipperton Zone. A documentary opening next month, How Deep Is Your Love, gives a scientist’s-eye view of the astonishingly biodiverse region.
