The Organ mountains of southern New Mexico...seen from the 'other' side.

They are often photographed from the west, and they make a dramatic backdrop to the city of Las Cruces.

This was taken at sunset with the mountains backlit. Only clouds are catching the sun's final rays.

The view looks a bit dusty because I'm shooting through 70 miles of hazy air.
