A federal judge appointed by Donald Trump has, in recent months, repeatedly broadcast live from his office, appearing on pro-Israel and right-wing programs to promote his book denying Israel’s genocide.
On one such broadcast, the judge, Roy Altman, called the traditional Palestinian keffiyeh scarf a “terrorism scarf.” He’s participated in events with a group that purports to combat “lawful Islamism” in the U.S.

The European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, has said that the EU should treat illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian Territories in the same way as it treated Russia’s invasion of Crimea.
Kallas told The Irish Times on Friday that Europe could not be taken seriously as long as it remained divided on a response to the actions taken by the Israeli government and violent settlers.

Israeli Culture Minister Miki Zohar has said that he will move to revoke the citizenship of filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor after their documentary on Israel’s genocide in Gaza, NAZA, won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
Zohar called the documentary vile and its win at the film festival shocking. He accused the filmmakers of harming the country “just to get applause from antisemites around the world”.
