<p>Ad on YouTube that claims that a simple finger oximeter can also measure blood sugar, blood pressure and more (it can&#x27;t). Ad uses the logo of the famous Charité hospital in Berlin. That hospital has a dedicated page on their website [1] warning about this scam. I report it to Google as being a misleading ad that makes false claims. <p>Medical Warning for Diabetics out there.</p><p>OH has type two diabeties, so needs to do the fingertip prick test on a regular basis. His diabeties is controlled with medication and diet - no daily injection.<br>But he’s not a fan of the prick test, so when he saw an ad for a REMI-FA blood test [[clinically validated] he ordered one. It’s around £20 for this item. <br>His plan was to use it in parallel with the fingertip prick test to ensure it was accurate before he would consider abandoning that one. <br>Well, box arrived - shows an item on the front and claims it is ‘Clinically Validated’ - but all the box contains is one of those little fingertip blood pressure and temperature monitors. <br>He’s asked for his money back - Lol.
