Yesterday I treated myself to a nice adventure in the Ardennes between Jalhay and Malmedy. I combined 2 Extratrail loops.
The day started with mists and a drizzle that turned into rain a couple of times. But the afternoon was dry.
Underfoot I had mud, roots and rocks and a couple of patches of snow and ice. I even had to use nano-spikes on 3 occasions.
72km, 1900m of EG.
8:20 of running, 9:30 elapsed.
A nice day out in a beautiful region!

Ein paar Gedanken nach dem Rennen:
Ich denke, ich hab so langsam den Punkt erreicht, an dem auch ein relativ spontaner Lauf über Marathondistanz kein Problem mehr ist. 👍🏽 Da insbesondere die Trail-Anteile viel Spass gemacht haben, fühle ich mich langsam bereit so Ultra Trails anzugehen. DC rainmaker with his typical humor taking apart the new Strava instant workout feature. It seems like another bad implementation of some that just looks fancy - to shine for the investors during the IPO. Instead of fixing bugs and improving current features they come up with half baked stuff that no one can reliably use. Glad I have left behind that platform. Another confirmation.

Nach meinem Weggang von Komoot hat mir immer noch eine Software gefehlt, mit der ich am Rechner neue Laufrouten klicken kann. Bikerouter geht da nur bedingt, weil es halt für Fahrrad ist. Hier kam dann diese Woche ein Post über den Routeplanner von Suunto vorbei. Tja, das Ding ist richtig gut, braucht keinen Account und eine Suunto Uhr muss man auch nicht kaufen.
