<p>For every action there is a reaction. We have to remember that when society and awareness steps forward, there will always be people who want to pull it back. I believe we are seeing the fall out from <a href="/tags/metoo/" rel="tag">#MeToo</a>, <a href="/tags/transrights/" rel="tag">#TransRights</a> and <a href="/tags/blacklivesmatter/" rel="tag">#BlackLivesMatter</a>. There are more of us than there are of them, so they need to create an enemy. But it&#x27;s so ridiculous, imagine leading your charge with, &quot;Women, Trans Persons and People of Color are bad, because they expect equal rights.&quot;</p><p>It sometimes feels like we are taking two steps back, but remember they wouldn&#x27;t start these fights if they weren&#x27;t scared. We are making vital changes to society, and this is part of it. Hold fast!</p>

<p>Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. On this day we remember our trans siblings who are no longer with us due to transphobia and anti-trans violence. We honour their memory and remind ourselves to fight for the living.
