Trio Madjesi & Orchestre Sosoliso was one of the hottest acts in then Zaire in the early 1970s. The name Madjesi comes from the first letters of the names of the singers Mario Matadidi Mabele, Loko Massengo “Djeskain” and Sak “Sinatra” Sakoul. Rated For All Mankind - Season 5 9/10
This show continues to be one of the most exciting sci-fi shows we've got. Severance and Pluribus are outstanding, both better acted and superior in their mindfuckery, but they fundamentally face inward, focusing on who and why. For All Mankind has a lot of why, but it doesn't shy away from what and how, not jus technologically but politically. Is it a bit hokey in the way plays out its algorithmic plot? Sure, but it plies the tropes excellently. I was somewhat appalled at the life that is "methane-based, not carbon-based," as if a show with these production values can't afford a science editor with a high school degree, or one that can use Wikipedia. I mean, they also seemed to zoom off to Titan in like a few weeks which also seems insane. Relax, nerd.

Overall a good show, quite entertaining, even if it does feel like bending a bit some of the canon rules or history.

🎥 🏡 Personal update: as we renovate our first home for a child (we hope to adopt); a new #Roku show will tell part of our story: https://ThisFirstHouse.com
I'm a bit nervous to share this much of our lives, but their original #ThisOldHouse is my favorite show. They have been educating people like us for decades. It’s a privilege to move to the other side of the cameras and learn directly from their skilled trade and production teams.
The weekend is here! What are your plans?
We resume streaming Beyond Oasis on Sunday evening.
Offline we're playing Monster Hunter Wilds and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. We're watching X-Men 97, the new Futurama, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle.
