This pair of jays had chosen an interesting nesting spot: a broken streetlight. They were therefore used to people passing by and were not bothered by me. You can see them in the first photo trying to get their parents attention. A pair of jays nesting in a broken streetlight. The streetlight is an older one, with large round glasses inside of a metal frame. One glass is broken and is now the entrance to the birds nest.
Two chicks are raising their heads from the bottom of the nest trying to get food from the parent birds.

The same streetlight from a distance, the top part of the light is in the frame. The background consists of some trees and is blurred. Only one bird is sitting in the nest this time and is looking through the broken glass.

A brightly coloured brick wall covered in graffiti. In front of the wall is a shopping trolley lying on its side with a bicycle leaning against it. The graffiti on the wall is in a variety of colours and styles, including letters, symbols and abstract shapes. The shopping trolley and bicycle are both in a state of disrepair, suggesting that they have been abandoned.

To confuse the unimaginative, the image is rotated 180 degrees. The shopping trolley now appears to float above the graffiti.
