<p>在十九世紀的法國巴黎沙龍，曾有超過一萬兩千位藝術家的畫布與雕塑在展場裡爭相吸引目光，評論家與觀眾的筆記與讚嘆，曾經為他們留下短暫的榮耀。</p><p>然而，當我們回望今日的資料庫卻發現：在 Wikidata 上，這些名字並沒有同等的延續。在【Victims of Posterity. Identifying Gaps on 19th-Century French Art History with Wikidata】研究中，研究者發現女性藝術家的資料幾乎消失，她們的存在在數據裡只剩下微弱的痕跡；而那些在世時已經享有名聲的藝術家，則依舊被完整記錄，繼續佔據後世的舞台。更顯著的是，與「現代性」掛鉤的藝術家，往往成為資料裡的主角，彷彿十九世紀的藝術史仍被現代主義的框架牢牢掌控。</p><p>這樣的懸殊比例，讓人看見文化記憶的選擇性。誰被記住，誰被遺忘，並非偶然，而是制度、權力與敘事共同作用的結果。Wikidata 在這裡不只是冷冰冰的資料庫，而是一面鏡子，映照出歷史的偏差，提醒我們去思考：那些被忽略的名字，是否也值得重新被看見？</p><p>在研究中研究者反思從 Wikidata 作為資料庫，透過開放資料與結構化知識，我們或許能讓被遺忘的藝術家重新回到歷史的版圖，讓文化的記憶更完整、更公平。</p><p>Wikidata Taiwan 在與 <a href="/tags/李梅樹紀念館/" rel="tag">#李梅樹紀念館</a> 、 <a href="/tags/新樂園藝術空間/" rel="tag">#新樂園藝術空間</a> 以及 <a href="/tags/攝影圖書室/" rel="tag">#攝影圖書室</a> 等不同單位共同合作，持續推動臺灣藝術家資料收錄在 Wikidata 之中，目前已經收錄了超過一萬名臺灣藝術家的基礎資訊，我們在感謝社群的共同努力以外，也同時持續推動臺灣藝術家資料的收錄：因為我們知道目前的整理僅僅是臺灣資料鏈結開放的開端。</p><p>圖片引用：Victims of Posterity.
