A wide-angle view of the Austrian National Library's State Hall. The circular hall features tall, dark wood bookshelves, white marble statues, and a patterned marble floor. Large oval windows are brightly lit up letting in sunlight below a massive Baroque dome with a colourful fresco painted inside it.

Red Geranium

📷️ Ricoh GRIIIX

#photography #photo #fotografie #color #ricoh #WindowFriday #FensterFreitag #windows #flowers

This color photograph captures the window of an old building on a faded, light-yellow wall. The wall is covered with paint cracked by time, with a wide blue stripe running along the bottom. The wooden window frame is peeling, and the dark green of trees is reflected in the glass. On the windowsill, among green leaves, a bright red geranium stands out — the only saturated spot of color in the frame, drawing the eye. On the left of the wall, the mark "KK 7" is visible. The image is built on minimalism and color contrast, conveying the atmosphere of a quiet, "unnoticed" urban everyday life.

A weathered window fills the frame. Its pale surface is marked by age and use, with a closed blind behind the glass. Soft light lies across the window and surrounding wall, creating a quiet, balanced composition without revealing the interior.

I'm off to East-Eastern Europe for two weeks. Maybe I'll post something along the way, let's see how it goes. 👋

Here's an airport window for #WindowFriday . Thanks to the unknown guy for making the composition complete.

📍 Santander.

#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday

Descripción en #alttext

#photography #photo #fotografia #blackandwhite #bnwphotography #bnw #monochrome #blancoynegro #travel #streetphotography #architecture #cityscape

📍 Salamanca.

#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday

Descripción en #alttext

#photography #photo #fotografia #blackandwhite #bnwphotography #bnw #monochrome #blancoynegro #salamanca #streetphotography #architecture #cityscape #sunset #moon

Dome

#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday #Photography

A low-angle shot looking straight up into a circular architectural dome. The dome features a concentric, coffered pattern with rows of indented rectangular panels that radiate outward from the center.

At the very center is a circular opening fitted with a glass windowpane divided by a radial metal framework. Through the glass, a bright blue sky filled with scattered white clouds is visible.

Sunlight streams in from above, casting distinct diagonal beams and shadows across some of the upper coffers on the right side of the dome, creating a contrast of light and texture.
