黄自元《间架结构摘要九十二法》是继承前人结构规律充实发展而成的。本次编印之新书与原书的主要不同是：一、增加释译。每类满城风雨则之后增加了百字以内的白话释译。释译包括解释该法原意；注明选 错、写错之例字，对生僻字加注汉语拼音及读音；指出和改正黄氏错讹，增加了各类字的书写指导。二、增加了大楷例字。为提高本书的临摹功能，增加了由书法家房弘毅书写的欧体大楷例字。字径为七厘米，以反白印刷，呈显碑拓效果。三、增加欧阳询例字。在保留黄氏原有例字的同时，还增加了从区阳询书法中选取的例字，便于读者临摹、参考。在集字时，尽量选用欧阳询楷书，缺字者以相近之字替代，或以其他古人楷书补充
