没有看过单口喜剧的人也能发笑，果然比起相声、漫才或落语，stand-up很现代，时代感很强，平民阶层的痛点痒点，用简单粗俗造就很强的嘲讽以及偶尔的艺术感。但不知道也会不会因此过些年头完全没有笑果。

这是一部比《美人鱼》更要糟糕的电影，它甚至没有能在春节档引发大笑。主角的感情线像刚拍到一半，被硬生生掐断，你能想象《喜剧之王》里尹天仇刚拍电影出名了，故事就突然结束吗？
更有问题的是，影片完全是展示而非叙事，既没有吸引观众投入，也丝毫没有传递到情绪。角色本应有的成长性，在这里只是轻浮的一念之差。于是玩起老梗放起《喜剧之王》的bgm的《新喜剧之王》只让人更坐立不安。另，这回连配角都十分鸡肋。
