Over a year and half years since their last release 'Up To Now', Snow Patrol are back and are set to unleash a new single and album this year.
'Called Out In The Dark' will be the first offering from the new album and will be given it's worldwide exclusive first play this Thursday 21st July between 7-8pm on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show in the UK.
The single, which was recorded in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles with longtime producer Garret 'Jacknife' Lee, will be released as a single track and an EP in the UK on September 4th. The as-yet untitled sixth studio album will will also finally receive it's much anticipated release later this year.

A Hundred Million Suns is the fifth album by alternative rock band Snow Patrol. The album will be released in Ireland on October 24, 2008, in the UK and the rest of Europe on October 27, 2008, and in the US on October 28, 2008.The first single from the album will be "Take Back the City" which will be released on October 10 in Ireland, Germany and Belgium.
