Making Mirrors is the third studio album by Belgian-born Australian recording artist Gotye. The album was released in Australia on 19 August 2011. In December 2011 it was announced that Making Mirrors was voted Triple J listeners' number-one album of 2011, making Gotye the first artist to win the Triple J album poll twice. It spawned the internationally critically acclaimed hit "Somebody That I Used to Know" which has impacted charts worldwide. In Poland, after one day of release, the album was certified platinum.

Macy Gray is set to release her sixth studio album ‘Covered’ on March 27th via 429 Records. The album features the R&B singer’s take on rock hits from bands such as bands as Radiohead, Metallica, and My Chemical Romance. “After my first record I wanted to do a covers album, but I guess covers albums have kind of a stigma, they’re not known to do very well and they’re designed for people when they’re not doing their own thing anymore,” Gray told RollingStone.com about the idea that didn’t fly with people around her until she suggested doing rock covers.

国外有句谚语叫“If it works, don't fix it.”意思是说如果好好的就不要去改变什么，绿日乐队的主唱Billie Armstrong一定深知其中的道理，所以当2008年他对外宣布乐队将在今年发行新专辑时，包括他在内的所有人都清楚绿日很可能再造一张《美国白痴》，这几乎就是不用揣测的事情。四十年前英国乐队The Who在发行了一张石破天惊的摇滚歌剧《Tommy》之后顺其自然地推出了现场版的摇滚歌剧《Live At Leeds》，他们懂得只要好好的就不要去改变什么；再近一些，2000年U2乐队发行《All That You Can't Leave Behind》从90年代末阴霾的电子舞曲抽身而出，接着2004年发行《How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb》进一步巩固自己伟大乐队的地位，他们同样懂得只要好好的就不要去改变什么。如今同样誓做伟大乐队的绿日也很清楚要将《American Idiot》良好的势头保持下去就只需再造一张《American Idiot》，一张不够就做两张，只要还是“绿日”时代，他们的朋克歌剧就不缺少听众。

Michael David Rosenberg, better known by his stage name Passenger, is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Previously the main vocalist and songwriter of Passenger, Rosenberg opted to keep the band's name for his solo work after the band dissolved in 2009.

Loud is the fifth studio album by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. It was first released on November 12, 2010. Recording sessions began in February 2010 and continued over a period of six months, concluding in August 2010. The album's lead single "Only Girl (In the World)" was released on September 10, 2010 as a digital download. "What's My Name?" is confirmed for release as the second single, while Rihanna has stated that current plans will see "S&M" released as the third single.
In June 2010, it was revealed that Rihanna was planning to release her fifth studio album soon. Singers, songwriters and producers Taio Cruz, Alex da Kid, Sean Garrett, Ne-Yo, Rico Love, Timbaland, Shontelle, David Guetta, and Drake worked on the album. "I'm gonna miss the Rated R era too, but nothing compares to the album I just made," Rihanna said, adding, "I made sure not to let you down with my music. You guys are always defending me, so now you’ve got some great songs to justify it. I didn’t want to go backward and remake Good Girl Gone Bad. I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it’s perfect for us". In early September 2010, she announced that the album would be called, Loud saying that "get Loud everybody, get crazy, get excited, because I'm pumped. I'm just gonna be me, because that's what you guys love the most, and that's what makes me feel best. Just being normal, normal for me is Loud! Sassy, fun, flirty, energetic." While Rihanna was on set filming for the movie Battleship, she explained in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, "Loud is, the word, the name of the album definitely reflects the attitude of it, it’s really sassy and flirty and it grabs your attention and that’s why I enjoy it. It takes you through a really really interesting ride. So colorful the album.” The artwork of the album was revealed on September 28, 2010.

About Tamas Wells
This story has two parts.
It begins 4 years ago in a vibrant music scene in Melbourne Australia. Renowned Australian producer Tim Whitten (The Panics, Art of Fighting) heard a copy of Tamas Wells’ home recorded songs and invited he and his friends to Megaphon studios in Sydney to record a debut album. This collection of songs made up the album A Mark on the Pane which was released on Australia’s Popboomerang Records and peaked at 16 on the Australian AIR charts. The band went on to do five Australian national tours through 2004.

The second part begins after recording songs for a second album when Tamas Wells left Australia to live in the city of Yangon in Burma in South East Asia. Despite this move the 2006 album A Plea en Vendredi with its Beat Magazine Single of the Week Valder Fields received glowing reviews and airplay in Australia. As well as an Australian release, Tamas Wells also signed a deal with renowned Tokyo based label Inpartmaint Records in Japan and also with Beijing based label Pocket Records (Dirty Three, Maximilian Hecker). The album gained significant airplay and went on to sell several thousand copies remarkably reaching number 16 in Japan's HMV Shibuya international chart. The release culminated in a sell out tour of four Japanese cities in August 2007.

WITH LOVE focuses on the central theme of love and its transformative powers. The album reflects Thomas' own experience, finding love and being aided by it as she fought a two-year battle with a thyroid disorder resulting in severe anxiety. I woke up one morning, and the sun shined in the window, and I didn't mind, Rosie says of her recovery; "the birds chirped, and I thought they were singing for me. The world felt like it was back on my side again, or vice versa, and I finally felt like myself again. Rosie began work on the record during this period of tremendous change during which she also got married and relocated to New York City from Seattle. Writing in Los Angeles, Nashville and her grandpa's farm in Kansas, she traveled to Texas to work with Sam Beam in pre-production, and after a false start recording in Nashville, Thomas returned to Seattle to assemble her band and record with producers Bazan and Wescott.
