节奏非常混乱，花木兰一度消失了7分半钟，很难想象迪士尼会把剧本写成这样。歌给人的感觉只有吵，各种莫名其妙的现代元素也是减分项。配角设置和《玩具总动员4》很像，给主角一个捧哏，再给捧哏一个捧哏。女性身份的主题当然是很厉害的，剧作和画风应该也影响了很多后来的中国动画。
