《出租车司机》讲述了搭载德国记者Jurgen Hinzpeter，偶然来到光州的出租车司机金四福身上发生的故事。
Jurgen Hinzpeter1980年5月作为德国第一公营广播ARD-NDR的驻日本员工用影像记录了光州事件，并创作了《蓝色眼睛的目击者》一书，让全世界了解到5.18光州惨案，还于2003年在韩国获得了新闻大奖。
