OCP tries to replicate the success of the first unit, but ends up with failed prototypes with suicidal issues... until Dr. Faxx, a scientist straying away from OCP's path, uses Cane as the new subject for the RoboCop 2 project, a living God.

1990年夏の東映アニメフェアで、「鳥山明・ザ・ワールド」として上映された劇場アニメ作品の一本。武道に優れた、良家育ちのお坊っちゃま剣之介。そんな彼が、ある日とびっきり美少女のお臀ちゃんからデートの誘いを受けた。“デート”という言葉を生まれてはじめて聞いた剣之介は、その場はお臀ちゃんと適当に話を合わせたものの、頭を抱えて家に帰る。とにかくお臀ちゃんに嫌われてはならないと思った剣之介は、ドジな家来の忍丸にデートのアドバイスを受けることになった。たった一日でデートの達人になろうとドライブ・海・お茶に食事にショッピングにと予行演習に精を出す剣之介と忍丸だったか、やることなすことがちょっとズレている。そして、デートの当日、そんなズレた感覚で剣之介はお臀ちゃんとのデートに挑むのだった。原作は鳥山明の手掛けた僅か17ページの短編だが、それを劇場用に大きく膨らませた展開が見もの。
