The Sisters Brothers - Review
MANNVANUARY THREE, #7: I remember hearing that this one was a little too dark for a comedy, or too silly to be dark, but watching it now I feel like the happy-sad mix works, thanks to a couple of winning performances by Phoenix and Reilly. Feels like it would be a good companion for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs as a downbeat/absurdist postmodern western double-feature.
