finished watching Lee Cronin's The Mummy 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
Terribly and nonsensically written. Horribly acted. Overly long to boot. Lee Cronin is clearly trying to ape his own Evil Dead Rise here, but it flat out doesn’t work. This isn’t scary. It’s not funny either. It’s agonizingly dumb and dull, while the majority of the attempts to disgust are surprisingly weak. For all of the jokes that were made about the director putting his name in the title, I’m personally glad he did it. Makes it easier to tell people what the bad Mummy is. Although, I suppose saying the one with the sucky needle drops would have sufficed as well.

Also, is Jack Reynor constantly making a weird face in this movie or is that just his face?
