The plot of the program involves an alien empire from the planet "Dada" called the "Robot Army Corps". When they kidnap a human scientist, Dr. Hayami, and two of his three sons and force him to improve their technology, he has no choice but to go along with them, despite his deep anger, resentment, and guilt.

One year later, their empire sufficiently advanced, the Robot Army Corps return to Earth, ready to put their plans into action—however, two unknown robots charge in and stop their invasion cold. It is then revealed that Dr. Hayama programmed the personalities of his two kidnapped sons, Joji and Ryuji, into the two Cyberroids to combat the Robot Army and care for his youngest son, Kenji. Using their Cyber Graphy to assume the forms of Joji and Ryuji, the older brother Skyzel and his younger brother Grounzel carry out Dr. Hayami's wish as the Kyodain.

旗本・三浦銀之助のもとに奇怪な話が伝えられた。両国の水茶屋の亭主が、甲州・七面山の山中で、銀之助の親友・鈴木栄吾に遭遇したという。甲府勤番に役替となった栄吾は、通告によれば、十日前に死んだとのことであったが…。 直接亭主に会おうとした銀之助だったが、亭主はすでに何者かによって殺害されていた。他方、岡っ引の常吉は、子分と共に事件の調査に乗り出す。 銀之助は、栄吾が小梅にある社「青日明神」を信仰していたことを知るが、その社は「釘〆ニ閂」の神紋や金槌の図柄の絵馬という変わった特徴を持っていた。 真相究明のため、銀之助は甲州街道を西へ向かう。事件探索への黒い圧力に突き当たった常吉も、そして栄吾を慕う女性も続いて甲州へ後を追う。 甲州の隠れ里へ足を運ぶ銀之助に接近する謎の暗躍者。出現する第二・第三の死体。甲斐の歴史に導かれた策謀事件の顛末は…。

蚂蚁和蟋蟀自小一起长大，情同手足。蚂蚁勤恳工作，蟋蟀刻苦练琴。冬天蟋蟀因弹尽粮绝上门向蚂蚁求助，却惨遭无情地拒绝。第二天，蟋蟀被发现饿死在家中，检方便以监护人遗弃罪将蚂蚁告上法庭……

A mysterious old woman appears before Setsu, who has recently lost her only child in a tragic accident. She says she can bring Setsu's son, Daio back to life. After agreeing to this sinister proposal, Daio returns to his mother, but to Setsu's horror, he is half decomposed and inhuman. To make him human again, he needs fresh human organs. Setsu does everything she can to reincarnate her son, but Daio just turns into a different kind of monster. No one can stop him as he continues to feed his hunger, claiming victim after victim.

Mushi are beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi. One such person is Ginko who travels from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them.
