《重返》这部由卡尔·拉格斐构思、编写并执导的影片，将在2013年12月10日周二，于2013/14“巴黎-达拉斯”高级手工坊系列发布会前首映。影片首映与发布会皆选址于美国达拉斯园博会公园。达拉斯园博会公园坐落于城市中心地段，是一座具有独特装饰艺术建筑风格的历史展览场馆。
在去年5月于新加坡首映的影片《从前……》中，卡尔·拉格斐用镜头展现了香奈儿女士于1913年在杜维埃度过的时光。《重返》则将观众带回1954年的巴黎，再现香奈儿女士重新开设时装设计室的场景，并着重描绘了美国在香奈儿女士这次复出中所扮演的重要角色。
本片阵容豪华，众星云集，除饰演香奈儿女士的Geraldine Chaplin以外，还包括Rupert Everett，Anna Mouglalis，Lady Amanda Harlech，Arielle Dombasle，Kati Nescher，Vincent Darré以及Sam McKnight。本片将于当地时间2013年12月10日下午6点半在达拉斯首映，并于chanel.com同步上映。届时，卡尔·拉格斐也将亲临首映式现场。

影片讲述的是一个爱情故事。一个30岁的男人和一个女人生活在一间带家具的狭小出租公寓内。男人有个女儿，是一个他抛弃过的女人所生。他会去看望女儿，女孩与生母一起独居，男子不提供分文赡养费，女子不得不外出工作抚养女孩。这个男人是一个戏剧演员，他的生活非常窘迫。他疯狂地爱上了另 外一个女人，这个女人曾经红极一时，但现在却没有工作。男人利用一切可以利用的方法，找所有能帮她的人，但是一切努力都完全无用。
