富士电视台于2003年1月6日开播。由COWBOY BEBOP的幕后班底制作，曾担任《新世纪福音战士》设计和大友克洋的《MEMORIES》中《最臭兵器》导演的冈村天斋执导。画面制作非常精良，菅野洋子做的音乐也很棒，个人认为应该算2003年最好的动画之一。
