Rattle and Hum是U2在美國巡迴時候的記錄片，除了在台上的表演之外，也包括了他們在美國探訪了搖滾樂之王「貓王」的成名地曼菲斯，還有在黑人音樂的聖地紐約哈林區看街頭藝人的演出，他們甚至在因為貓王而成名的錄音聖地Sun Studio錄製了幾首歌。這一部記錄片，有絕大多數在討論著，美國的許多音樂和文化帶給他們團員如何巨大的影響。Joshua Tree的封面拍攝地在美國西部加州的Joshua Tree國家公園，Rattle and Hum的同名專輯也收錄了他們翻唱美國民搖搖滾詩人Bob Dylan的名曲All Along the Wathtower，另一首U2的名曲I Still Haven't Found What I Am Looking For甚至在演唱會上找了個黑人福音團合作，整首歌改編得像是電影「修女也瘋狂」當中唱詩班那樣極具美國黑人風格的福音清唱版本。專輯中的When Love Comes to Town這首歌，也找來了美國的藍調吉他大師B.B. You See Me Laughin' is a personal journey into the lives and music of the last of the hill country bluesmen who've kept their music alive on the back porches and in the tiny juke joints of the Mississippi backwoods.

This was a reasonable documentary that caught up with '80s pop maverick Morrissey, who now lives in the lap of luxury in America. Still worshipped by legions of fans, lauded by trendy music critics and name-dropped by lots of recent bands, Morrissey remains a controversial and rather strange character. He proved in this documentary that he is still as funny and as acerbic as ever, although the music certainly isn't as fresh, vibrant or interesting as it was in the Smiths. The problem with the documentary, though, is that it demonstrated quite clearly that he still tends to stand against much more than he stands for. His devotion to vegetarianism has remained consistent, but his status as a political artist has no substance. He criticises Tony Blair and the Royals, just as he criticised Mrs Thatcher and the Royals back in his prime, but he offers no constructive, viable political views. He just criticises for the sake of it while living in opulence. He now represents the kind of wealth, luxury and smugness that his fans detested about his '80s pop contemporaries.
A funny, entertaining figure? Certainly. But a credible spokesman on the world's problems who should be taken as seriously as he obviously is by many? This documentary did nothing to quell my doubts about that.

Live Aid was a dual-venue concert that was held on 13 July 1985. The event was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the ongoing Ethiopian famine. Billed as the "global jukebox", the event was held simultaneously in Wembley Stadium in London, England, United Kingdom (attended by 72,000 people) and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States (attended by about 100,000 people). On the same day, concerts inspired by the initiative happened in other countries, such as Australia and Germany. It was one of the largest-scale satellite link-ups and television broadcasts of all time: an estimated global audience of 1.9 billion, across 150 nations, watched the live broadcast.[2

本集以极大的篇幅让观众重返1960年代的美国社会，体验1060年代末期摇滚乐反传统次文化的兴衰。当时的美国不仅反政府也反战，整个社会有着相当反体制的情绪，这个风潮不但反映在电影如《我俩没有明天》、《午夜牛郎》等名片中，也反映在最有普及性和流行性的音乐创作上。其中最为人所津津乐道的便是1969年8月在纽约州的小镇上举办数十万人次的音乐盛会——Woodstock音乐节，这个音乐节完全的反应当时社会的氛围，以及人民的复杂情绪。

这是一部以Jack White、The Edge和Jimmy Page三位吉他手为原形的纪录片，由David Guggenheim执导，讲述了三位吉他手通过不断地努力创新，用一把电吉他创造出他们独特表演风格的事业历程。该片把焦点放在一天中所发生的事情上，三个吉他手聚在一起分享他们的经历，向对方展示他们的才华。

Poet, singer / songwriter and ladies man Leonard Cohen is interviewed in his home about his life and times. The interview is interspersed with archive photos and exuberant praise and live perfomances from an eclectic mix of musicians, including: Jarvis Cocker, Rufus & Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson, ANOHNI, The Handsome Family and U2's Bono and The Edge.

The Power of Their Song is a 90-minute documentary film (currently in production) about beloved, Latin American folk-based musicians, most notably Victor Jara, who sang moving songs of freedom during times of dictatorship.
Their powerful songs, composed largely during the 1960's and 1970's, blend beautiful, and at times haunting, melodies with passionate and poetic lyrics expressing the hopes and fears of a generation of Latin Americans.
Known as Nueva Cancion, or New Song, this tradition of rural, folkloric music has continued to evolve, absorbing many different regional influences and taking on new creative forms. Well-known musicians from around the world have covered some songs in the tradition.
Using interviews to be filmed across South and Central America, the film will document the remaining major artists of this period, including: Roy Brown of Puerto Rico, Daniel Viglietti of Uruguay, Silvio Rodriguez of Cuba, Leon Gieco and Mercedes Sosa of Argentina, Chico Buarque of Brazil, Gabino Palomares of Mexico, as well as musicians from Venezuela, Nicaragua and other Latin American countries.
