With Spring Festival just around the corner, logger Vick learns that he has just been laid off for the holiday season. Trying to get another job, he finally gets employed as a Forest Ranger. At first, the Boonie Bears distrust Vick, but when a giant Super Chopping Robot arrives to log the entire forest, the animal gang must learn to trust their one-time enemy and work together to defend the forest!

地犼与俑的战斗旷日持久，男主角蒙远是地下秦陵中一打杂的杂役俑，他和神秘少女史玉合作抓捕地犼、经历险境，不料却发现地犼与兵俑战斗不息的谜团，却因此遭遇更大危机......

传说中被封印的年再度降临人间，肆虐大地，并酝酿着巨大的阴谋 —— 让大地陷入永恒的黑暗，受他统治。与此同时，唯一能够战胜年的“紫魁星”也转世降生在东海的一个渔村，他就是我们故事的主人公 —— 小海。年的肆虐毁灭了渔村，并吞掉了小海的父母和保护小海的灶王爷，小海必须找到传说中的“十二圣兽”习得他们的功夫，才能战胜年。于是，小海和第一只圣兽 —— 灶王爷身边的小老鼠“多来米”一起踏上了寻找其他圣兽的漫漫长路。
在前后遇到虎、猪、马、牛几位师傅后，小海渐渐从一个什么都不会的普通孩子成长为一个功夫高手。但是，在牛师傅的火焰山，和年的一场战斗让小海意识到自己与年的差距还太大，受到打击陷入低潮。之后掉下山崖的小海被羊师傅救起，养伤过程中，小海在羊师傅和多来米的帮助下重建信心。
成长的小海不再盲目冲动的要去找年报仇，而是潜心寻找其余的师傅继续提高自己的功夫修为，又相继找到了兔、狗、鸡、猴、蛇等几位师傅。在遇到了猴师傅智空大师，并经历了在佛法圣地朝宗山上的修行后，小海真正明白了与年的战斗并不是为了个人恩怨而是为了拯救天下苍生。此时，年的阴谋日益临近，在遍寻不到龙师傅的情况下，小海决定先行前往阻止年。
一场大战，小海被打下深海，却意外的在海底遇到了早就被年囚困在此的龙，小海救了龙。龙召唤其他十一圣兽帮助小海成为真正的紫魁星。但还是迟了一步，年的阴谋得逞，黑暗降临整个大地，小海也被年吞进肚子里。
年在大陆上四处肆虐，小海也在年的肚子里大闹，痛苦的年不得不将小海又吐出来。小海和年的最终大战来临，小海在十二圣兽和天下百姓的烟火齐鸣下，终于战胜了年。黑暗散去，大地恢复一片祥和。从此，这一天被命名为“年”，同时为了纪念十二位圣兽，人们将每一年以一个生肖做属相，代代相传。

Briar Bear, Bramble Bear & friends enjoy life in the woods when Logger Vick begins chopping down trees to get money to go home for the holidays. As Logger Vick is homesick, they hatch a plan to get Vick home in time for the holidays.

A strange yet familiar creature turns up, prompting a flooding of Bramble Bear's youthful memories. The forest descends into turmoil when a group of strangers arrive, on the hunt for the mysterious creature.

Bear brothers Briar and Bramble set off on an adventure with their human friend Vick to Wild Land, an amusement park where humans can turn into animals using a gene-technology bracelet.

Briar and Bramble, two bear brothers who constantly annoy Vick, are about to have a rude awakening. Vick goes to meet them to make them disappear and remove them from his life. During the commotion, all three are caught in by a shrink ray and miniaturized. The tiny team must return to the device to reverse the effects, but their efforts are thwarted by Vick's father. All three of them embark on a crazy race through a beautiful world, right under our feet, not only to return to their right , but also to find their families.

本部于1985年播出，由香港亚视推出的三十集电视连续剧《八仙过海》，改编自脍炙人口的民间传说八仙过海。八仙过海是八仙最广为流传的故事之一。在传说中，八仙各有不同的法器，铁拐李有铁杖及葫芦，汉钟离有芭蕉扇，张果老有纸叠驴，蓝采和有花篮，何仙姑有莲花，吕洞宾有长剑，韩湘子有横笛，曹国舅有玉板。他们随身所携带的法器各有妙用，都是为天下苍生请命造福，在世间也留下了许多美丽的传说。
