夜幕笼罩下的露天舞台，一场盛大的音乐会即将举行。担任首席指挥的兔八哥（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）矜持地站在舞台中央，他优雅地对着台下鞠躬，观众们则报以热烈的掌声。这时，台下有人发出一连串剧烈痛苦的咳嗽声，兔八哥不动声色，示意工作人员将这个不甚礼貌的家伙扔出去。他翻看曲谱，正是弗兰兹·冯·苏佩（Franz von Suppé）创作的、技巧要求极高的《维也纳的早中晚》。兔八哥显然有些惊慌，担心驾驭不了，不过对于这个经历过大场面的指挥家来说，什么样的高难曲目也难不倒他。
在他的指挥下，乐队开始演奏，只不过在此期间难免发生意外状况……

很久很久以前，有三只熊，分别是熊爸爸（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）、熊妈妈和熊孩子。他们一家围坐在空空的餐桌前，饱受饥饿的困扰。这时，小个子的熊爸爸决定效仿著名的三只熊的故事，吸引金发小妞来家里睡觉，然后吃掉她。狗熊一家做好美味的汤食，按照故事中的情节说完了各自的台词，随后手拉手唱歌假装外出，躲在房子的角落里等着猎物上门。食物的香味并没有引来金发小妞，来者却是住在附近洞窟里的兔八哥（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）。他进入房间，端坐餐桌前大吃特吃，而一旁的狗熊一家早已磨刀霍霍，随时准备抓住兔八哥。
但是这一家笨蛋能否敌的过鬼主意多多的兔八哥吗？结局出人意料……

A bulldog adopts an adorable kitten, but he can't let his owner know.

The lazy, goldbricking Snafu is asleep, when he is suddenly awakened by the morning bugle call. He doesn't want to get up, so the "Goldbrick fairy" appears. The fairy sings to him several things to do to avoid completing any of his duties. After many successful sleazy attempts to avoid work, the fairy pulls off his disguise and reveals he is actually an enemy Japanese, who fooled him and sabotaged his army's entire defense.

Bugs rescues a penguin from an Inuit hunter at the South Pole and becomes obligated to it beyond his wildest dreams.

Bugs Bunny once again making that "wrong turn at Albuquerque" burrows into a bullring, where a magnificent bull is making short work of a toreador. The bull bucks Bugs out of the arena, prompting the bunny to declare "Of course you realize, this means war!" The deft Bugs' arsenal comes plenty packed, as he uses anvils, well-placed face slaps and the bull's horns as a slingshot. The bull fights back, using his horns as a shotgun barrel. The bull's comeback is short-lived; just after Bugs makes out his will, he lures the bull out of the arena, just in time to set up a rube-like device that leads to the bull's defeat.

不过兔八哥临危不惧，他镇定自若地和凶猛但头脑简单的大嘴怪周旋，靠自己的智慧赢得胜利……

战斗逐渐升级，两个死对头谁也不服输，而最终的结果也难以预料……

这似乎是我们所熟悉的故事，龟兔赛跑再次进行。这次兔子毫不怠慢，他全力以赴，奋勇冲刺，用尽各种办法对付慢吞吞的乌龟，终于第一时间冲过终点线，可是乌龟早在他之前抵达终点，胜利再次属于乌龟。每看一遍比赛录像，兔八哥（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）就愤怒不已，他想不通自己已经跑得很快了，可为何还是输给乌龟呢？为了弄明白乌龟胜利的秘密，他伪装成一个老爷爷的模样，趁着夜晚来到对方家门口敲门。乌龟毫无保留，将自己获胜的秘密倾囊相授，与此同时也轻松识破兔八哥的伪装。
兔八哥被对方羞辱虽然气急败坏，不过却自认为已经获知获胜的秘密，于是回家打造他的秘密武器。未过多久，龟兔赛跑的消息再度刊登在报纸上，这一次获胜的是谁呢？

Coal Black is working as a maid in Harlem, but her mistress doesn't like the idea that Prince Charming is more interested in the maid than in her, so she pays some crooks to drive her to the country and kill her. But Coal Black is lucky, she isn't killed, but set free somewhere in the rural area - near a US Army Training camp. Seven GIs take care of her, but her old mistress finds out that she's still alive, and comes to poison her with candy. Only a kiss of her lover can save her now...

The wolf had expected to make a meal of both Grandma and Red, but is more than willing to take Bugs as a substitute when he finds Grandma has gone to work at the factory. Although Bugs is more than capable of handling a hungry wolf, the obnoxious, loud-mouthed Red turns out to be a more serious problem.

While reading his favorite comic book, Daffy accidentally knocks himself unconscious and dreams he's Duck Twacy, famous detective, trying to solve the case of the missing piggy banks. Taking a streetcar (conducted by Porky Pig, in a non-speaking cameo role) to the gangsters' hideout, he meets up with such grotesque criminals as Pickle Puss, Eighty-Eight Teeth and Neon Noodle.

Bugs is being chased again, this time by a dog named Willoughby. The clumsy mutt is incredibly stupid, literally falling for Bugs' cons again and again. Bugs becomes a bit overconfident in his dealing with the dog, though, and finds himself falling for his own tricks. In the end, cartoon logic wins out over the laws of gravity--or does it?
