悲伤的年轻人靠在爱人的家门口哭泣，这时天空中的月亮越变越大，最终月亮女神出现在他的面前。女神的鼓励令年轻人信心倍增，再次唱起献给爱人的小夜曲。愤怒的男主人带领仆人冲出家门追打年轻人，但年轻人却跑到女神身边，一同隐藏在月亮里。而男主人则被女神变成农夫的模样，他想回屋，却遭到了仆人们的殴打。此情此景，连月亮都在笑话他……

二人捉住商贩，按住在后背刷上胶水，将他黏在一扇大门上。围观群众乐不可支，商贩只得低声告饶。众人合力将他从门上拔下来，没留神扯掉裤子上的一块布，再次成为众人的笑柄。这令商贩又羞又气……
