　　第一幕：黄昏时分，两个流浪汉戈戈和狄狄，迷离恍惚，浑浑噩噩，他们在乡间小道上等待着从来没有见过的戈多，但戈多迟迟不来，等来的却是波卓和幸运儿。波卓随意虐待幸运儿，幸运儿也惟命是从。波卓吃饱喝足，逼幸运儿为他们跳了一通舞后才牵着幸运儿和流浪汉告别。天将黑时，戈多的信使小男孩来到，他传达戈多的旨意：今天不来了，明天一定来。

　　第二幕：次日黄昏，还是同样的小路，同样的流浪汉，同样的目的──等待戈多。等待得无聊至极，彼此争吵谩骂，但仍不见戈多来。以至于烦闷得想到自杀。总算等到了人，却是眼瞎了的波卓，哑巴的幸运儿。接着还是信使小男孩来，宣布戈多今天不来了，明天一定来。两个无望的流浪汉又想起了上吊，解下裤带子，但一拉就断了。死又死不成，只好明天再等，再等……。

这是一部典型的为男性观众准备的硬派枪战电视剧，和Spike的一贯风格极为吻合，这一点在过去的电视剧《刀锋战士电视剧版》中已有体现。《The Kill Point／危机时刻》由两位艾美奖得主及金球奖提名获得者John Leguizamo、Donnie Wahlberg出演，全剧共8集，剧情有些类似《The Nine》，形式有些类似《Standoff》。与其将本剧看作一部电视剧，倒不如把本剧看作一部被拉长了的电视电影。
故事起源于一场普通的银行抢劫案。但是因为种种原因，抢劫变成了一发不可收拾的悲剧，抢匪不仅挟持了所有当时在银行里的人员，而且与警方展开对峙。在艰苦的谈判中，两个男人逐渐成为这次事件的焦点。
人质中也不乏神秘人物，有几个似乎在好几起银行劫案中都出现过。人质中的重要人物包括：一个很勇敢但是心肠却很坏的老家伙；惊慌失措的银行经理和他美貌性感的女儿；还有一个受到惊吓但是身份不明的女人。
究竟谁更聪明？谁的欺骗手段更高明？谁能够笑到最后？谁会丢了性命？在《The Kill Point》这个危险的游戏里，一切只有到最后关头才会分晓。
本剧不会出现《The Nine》那样的闪回镜头，时间线是连续的，故事的发生也是实时的。
