该剧改编自天下霸唱小说《河神：鬼水怪谈》，讲述了恶水之源爆炸因果未明，津门事变，悬案再起，郭得友、丁卯、顾影、肖兰兰津门天团再次聚首，探寻“九牛二虎一鸡”连环大案背后真相的故事。

小贤（陈赫 饰）最终放弃了500万的奖金，回到了大家的身边，因为他发现友情才是自己最宝贵的财富。而大家的老朋友美嘉（李金铭 饰）就在这时回到了爱情公寓，还带回了新男友。虽然最后分手了，但她却逐渐明白什么样的人才是适合自己的，而且也找到了新的工作，开始了新的生活。一菲（娄艺潇 饰）当上了大学的老师，事业慢慢起步 ，但感情上依然磕磕绊绊。展博（金世佳 饰）和宛瑜（赵霁 饰）结束旅行回到了公寓，但宛瑜为了梦想离开了展博，有伤心没有伤害，因为他们曾经真心相爱。有悲伤也有喜悦，关谷和悠悠恋爱多时，终于要开始准备步入婚姻的殿堂。子乔虽然一直以花花公子的形象示人，但当他找到了那个让自己心跳的女孩后，也慢慢变的成熟起来。大家在爱情公寓一起经过了那么多年，那么多事，每一个人都开始渐渐明白自己的生活方向和彼此在自己心中的位置。不仅仅有相互之间的调侃、戏谑、捉弄，也更多了份相互鼓励、帮助、扶持。有美好，有欢笑；有失落，有惆怅；有努力，有奋斗，爱情公寓一如既往的见证了大家的青春与成长，无论是一菲、小贤，关谷、悠悠，子乔、美嘉还是展博，大家还是在公寓里演绎着属于他们的传奇，继续嬉笑怒骂，继续面对生活中的一切的不确定，也继续乐观的面对这一切。大家的故事还在继续……

When a young mentally handicapped man follows him home one day and enters his life, it sets off a blaze and a chain of events follows, which bares China’s class divide raw. His random act of reluctant kindness invites a parade of strangers and grifters all intent on draining Latioazi of what little he has.
