Fourplay follows the romantically entwined lives of a TV writer, producer, actress and makeup artist. Ben Greene (Binder) is an American comic writer who comes to Britain to write for a show, "Telford Gate". The star of the show, Carly Matthews-Portland (Hemingway) is married to the producer, Allan (Firth). Carly decides to help Greene, by setting him up on a date with a French makeup artist, Fiona Delgrazia (Irène Jacob). As the movie progresses, the lives of the couples get more entwined and they each decide if they are in the right relationship or not.

Scottish actor David Hayman is becoming a sleuth himself to examine the truth behind Sherlock Holmes in a new one-off STV documentary.
Due to be shown on December 27, the show will coincide with the release of the latest Sherlock Holmes adaptation directed by Madonna’s ex-husband Guy Ritchie, which seems set to be a festive blockbuster.
The Search for Sherlock Holmes follows Hayman on a fascinating and personal journey to reveal the heart of one of the world’s most significant and loved literary figures, and the most portrayed movie character of all time.
So far, over 70 actors have played the part of Sherlock Holmes in over 200 films, with Robert Downey Jr taking the lead in the latest adaptation, with Jude Law taking his side as Dr Watson.
Travelling the length of Britain, David investigates the extraordinary character that he has loved and admired for most of his life.
Attempting to discover the secret to Sherlock Holmes’ long lasting success, he sets out to discover what influenced Holmes’ creation and reveals the personal demons of his Scottish creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
During his travels, David visits many of the places that influenced Conan Doyle’s work, including his home town Edinburgh and London’s Baker Street, where Holmes was said to live.
He meets with Sherlock Holmes experts and celebrity enthusiasts, including Stephen Fry and crime writer Linda La Plante, and looks at how real crimes in Victorian Britain shaped not only Holmes but the creation of the modern detective.

Based on a true story, set in the late 19th century: Lord Tichborne, the ninth richest nobleman in England, disappears after a South American shipwreck. Some years later his erudite Afro-English valet, Bogle, is sent to investigate rumors that Tichborne survived and settled in Australia. An alcoholic ruffian answer's Bogle's inquiries claiming to be the lost heir. Bogle suspects fraud, but conspires with the claimant to split the inheritance should the latter succesfully pass himself off to friends, family and the courts. As the claimant returns to England to continue his charade, enough people confirm his identity to make both the claimant and Bogle believe that he just might be the rightful heir after all...

In this revealing documentary, Stephen Fry investigates the story of one of the most important machines ever invented - the Gutenberg Press.
The printing press was the world's first mass-production machine. Its invention in the 1450s changed the world as dramatically as splitting the atom or sending men into space, sparking a cultural revolution that shaped the modern age. It is the machine that made us who we are today.
Stephen's investigation combines historical detective work and a hands-on challenge. He travels to France and Germany on the trail of Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press and early media entrepreneur. Along the way he discovers the lengths Gutenberg went to keep his project secret, explores the role of avaricious investors and unscrupulous competitors, and discovers why printing mattered so much in medieval Europe.
But to really understand the man and his machine, Stephen gets his hands dirty - assembling a team of craftsmen and helping them build a working replica of Gutenberg's original press. He learns how to make paper the 15th-century way and works as an apprentice in a metal foundry in preparation for the experiment to put the replica press through its paces. Can Stephen's modern-day team match the achievement of Gutenberg's medieval craftsmen?
