第40届香港国际电影节与合一影业合作，制作由四部短片组成的《美好合一2016》。自2012年启动以来，“美好合一”系列先后有顾长卫、许鞍华、蔡明亮、金泰勇、吕乐、吴念真、黑泽清、张婉婷与罗启锐夫妇、姜帝圭、杜可风、舒琪、黄建新、严浩及莫森﹒玛克玛尔巴夫等十余位亚洲知名电影人加盟，今年该系列邀请了内地的贾樟柯、台湾的苏有朋、日本的中田秀夫及香港的关锦鹏，制作了《营生》、《住在幸福大街的王大妈》、《在镰仓》及《是这样的》四部短片，将在电影节世界首映。

In this loose adaptation of "Hamlet," illegitimate son Kôichi Nishi climbs to a high position within a Japanese corporation and marries the crippled daughter of company vice president Iwabuchi. At the reception, the wedding cake is a replica of their corporate headquarters, but an aspect of the design reminds the party of the hushed-up death of Nishi's father. It is then that Nishi unleashes his plan to avenge his father's death.
