多伦多电影节传来的最新消息：两位英国演员杰玛·阿特登(Gemma Arterton)和蒂姆·罗斯(Tim Roth)将加盟由克里斯托弗·诺兰编剧的惊悚影片《The Keys to the Street》，由捷克导演朱利斯·舍夫契克掌镜，并在英国进行拍摄。
作为世界著名导演的克里斯托弗·诺兰，同样是一个令人印象深刻的编剧。除了他2002年的作品《白夜追凶》之外，诺兰参与了每一部他执导影片的编剧工作，也包括他的最新计划《星际穿越》。而《通往街道的钥匙》(The Keys to the Street)的剧本甚至能追溯到1998年，诺兰在拍摄完处女作《追随》之后，同迈克尔·斯托克斯一起，改编了英国小说家Ruth Rendell的这部同名小说。
当一个计划一旦同诺兰的名字沾上了边，那么它将会迅速吸引影迷和媒体的注意。根据《综艺》的报道，杰玛·阿特登在过去的三年里一直都与这个计划保持联系，而蒂姆·罗斯则是新加入的卡司成员。故事情节最初被设定为围绕一位女性骨髓捐赠者展开，由于她的捐赠，一个神秘男人的生命得以延续，而她也与这名被她所救的男子，展开了一段非比寻常的感情。

《通往街道的钥匙》将成为首个不是由诺兰导演的诺兰故事，不过从上面故事情节的变化上来看，不知道诺兰原本的故事还能保留多少。影片的执行制作人Kirk D’Amico表示：“我们认为观众会非常喜欢诺兰和迈克尔·斯托克斯对于这部英国流行悬疑小说的改编……并且带着暗黑的倾向。”
《通往街道的钥匙》还未有确定的上映日期，不过将于2014年初在英国进行拍摄。

Showtime宣布放弃开发宗教剧集《梵蒂冈》（The Vatican），理由是「试映集没有达到预期效果」。

马丁（塞巴斯蒂安·考奇）是一名编剧，在戏剧和电影界是位知名人物。十五年前，他的妻子神秘失踪了。马丁的女儿萨拉（丽贝卡·奈特）今年25岁，她和母亲一样都是漂亮的女演员。萨拉正在演出一部电影，由马丁担任编剧。在萨拉的25岁生日宴会上，马丁结识了迷人的女郎安吉丽克（洛特·弗贝克），但没想到的是，她第二天也神秘地失踪了。不久后，安吉丽克的尸体在河道中被发现。血液中有毒品迹象，并且身上没穿衣服。警方立刻开始调查，并不确信安吉丽克究竟是死于意外还是他杀。最后一个和安吉丽克说过话的人是马丁。马丁被警察盘问，但被虚幻的梦境以及对过去的回忆让他的记忆变得模糊不清。让事情更加复杂的是，前来认领安吉丽克尸体的人是她的双胞胎姐姐特蕾莎（洛特·弗贝克），而在特蕾莎和安吉丽克之间，有一段神秘的黑暗的过去。

影片共三集，第一部：日耳曼尼亚《Germania》；第二部：纽伦堡《Nürnberg》；第三部：施潘道《Spandau》。分别是阿尔伯特•施佩尔人生的三个时代。
“日耳曼尼亚”是希特勒授命施佩尔设计的第三帝国新首都的名字。因此第一集讲述了施佩尔从第一次见到施佩尔，到如何受到赏识，进而成为希特勒的挚友。影片用了很多笔墨描写施佩尔与希特勒之间的友谊。值得提出的是，虽然《第三帝国兴亡录》里说纳粹高层有一批“相公癖”即同性恋者。但施佩尔和希特勒的关系并没有这样。希特勒本人很讨厌同性恋，并因此处分过高层将领。
纽伦堡主要反映纽伦堡国际军事法庭战后如何审判纳粹要员。施佩尔并没有直接参与大屠杀和进攻其他国家，加上战争末期拒绝摧毁德国的工业设施，被判监禁20年。但在法庭上，施佩尔曾企图刺杀希特勒结束战争一事被揭露，导致副元首鲁道夫•赫斯、帝国元帅戈林等人与施佩尔决裂。
施潘道监狱是纽伦堡审判后专门用来关押7名未判死刑的纳粹最高领导的监狱。施佩尔等人在此不仅受到了屈辱的对待，也尝到了丧失自由的苦果。穿上了当初他们给犹太人穿的囚衣和鞋子。而且在监狱中，其他六人因施佩尔将达屠杀责任归咎希特勒而与他不和，特别是邓尼茨海军上将，一直到出狱都把自己入狱认为是施佩尔造成的。只因希特勒死前曾征求施佩尔继任者的人选，施佩尔觉得邓尼茨比希姆莱和戈林都要温和，而推荐邓尼茨。邓尼茨认为这是导致他入狱十年的原因。最后服刑20年的施佩尔未获一天减刑，刑满出狱，撰写回忆录《第三帝国内幕》，1981年终老伦敦。
整部影片，采用历史影像资料，采访当事人，和情景再现结合，衔接的非常艺术。所选演员与历史人物惊人神似，特别是副元首鲁道夫•赫斯和帝国元帅戈林，采访 了施佩尔的子女，甚至莱尼•里芬施塔尔，重访历史故地，比如奥伯萨尔兹堡的元首别墅等地，具有较高的艺术和史料双重价值。演员塞巴斯蒂安·考奇表演亦刻画到位，十分出彩。（@Lancelot）
