近日据外媒报道，狮门影业将重启文森佐·纳塔利在1997年执导的恐怖科幻电影《异次元杀阵》（又名《心慌方》），目前影片暂定名《Cubed》。《普罗米修斯》编剧乔·斯派茨、《美版午夜凶铃》《贝茨旅馆》制作人罗伊·李将作为这部电影的主创，与新人Saman Kesh一同重新构思并执导。Saman Kesh因其拍摄的短片《Controller》而声名鹊起。
据悉，《Cubed》大体故事将以《异次元杀阵》为基础，影片描述为“关于人工智能、人性与一种新生数码物种的科幻惊悚的生存竞赛”。

本片是导演文森佐·纳塔利拍摄《立方体》的雏形，利用惊险的体验，挖掘人性的恶。
三人因为未知怪兽的来袭被困在升降电梯里，猜忌、冲动导致他们的互相残杀。最后，大批人群因为未知恐惧奔向已成为炼狱场的电梯，画面结束在女主角疯癫诡异的眼神中。
影片中没有出现任何神魔鬼怪或者灵异现象，传说中的怪兽也未出现，观众所能目睹的血案全由人类自己造成。相对于其他装神弄鬼的恐怖片，这部20分钟的短片将恐惧的来源模糊化，转而用人性的不可捉摸和密闭空间促进剧情发展，再加上血浆满地的cult场景，给人带了一场小小的刺激。
除了《紧急迫升》、《立方体》，文森佐后来拍摄的《人兽杂交》，都是通过挖掘人性的弱点和一些偶然性因素，来营造恐怖气氛或者制造话题。
