相比于前两张专辑plastic ono band和imagine，这张专辑在商业上表现极为不佳，发行的单曲也遭到了惨痛失败。
这张专辑打破了约翰列侬前两张专辑热销的势头，成为了约翰列侬最失败的专辑。大量空洞的政治观点和口号，外加因为内容而被牺牲的可听性都造成了这张专辑的失败。但其中的现场演唱的部分还是值得一听的，约翰列侬和小野洋子先锋性的演唱实力值得肯定。
这张专辑在排行榜上遭遇了惨痛失败，在英国虽然勉强升到了#11，但在美国专辑只到达了#48。

Walking on Thin Ice is a greatest-hits compilation of Yoko Ono's work from 1971 to 1985. It was released by Rykodisc in 1992, along with the more comprehensive 6-disc Onobox set. The booklet includes an essay by Yoko, pieces from her book Grapefruit, and quotes about Ono from artists such as David Bowie, Eric Clapton and Cyndi Lauper.

This is NYC avant garde convergence at its finest. The idea of a meeting between Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon & Thurston Moore is so perfect, so obvious, the only shock is that it didn't happen earlier. Recorded in 2011 at Manhattan's Sear Sound, the album features lead vocals by Yoko, with backing vocals & guitars by Kim & Thurston. It's a wild collision of song-form, poetics, free-rock & classic glossolalic ecstasy. Yoko has not allowed herself to sound this raw since the earliest recordings of the Plastic Ono Band. There's a remarkably empathic & comfortable quality to the sound. The 3 communicate as though they'd been playing together forever.

At the time of its release, this duo album by John Lennon and Yoko Ono gained its greatest notice for its cover, a photograph that depicted the two standing before the camera naked. The recording, too, can be described as naked, in that it contains no music that would interfere with one's ability to hear the normal sounds of life. The record is not unlike what you might get if you turned on a tape recorder for a random half hour in your home ?snatches of inaudible conversation far away from the microphone, footsteps, wind, etc. Conceptual "music" in the Cageian sense, yes, but not popular music of the kind with which John Lennon had been previously associated in any sense at all. Milk and Honey is the sixth and final album by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, released in 1984. It is the first posthumous release of new Lennon music, having been recorded in the last months of his life during and following the sessions for his 1980 album Double Fantasy.
