那是昭和二十年的盛夏。在一望无际的太平洋海面上，两个鱼雷夹着一个空空的汽油筒在飘浮。油筒里坐的是一个憨厚老实的学生兵，绰号是“那家伙”。原来广岛发生原子弹爆炸事件后，“那家伙”就成了一名特攻队员。而特攻队员的任务就是带着两颗鱼雷去撞击敌方的军舰。在执行任务之前，上级给了他们一天的外出时间。“那家伙”走出了营门，并有意无意地闯进了女人窝。他与一个小姑娘彼此产生了好感，二人在一个防空洞里产生了肉体关系。就在这天晚上，小姑娘被敌方的空袭炸死，“那家伙”也奉命带着两颗鱼雷来到了太平洋上。这个时候日本已经宣布投降，“那家伙”却一点都不知道，还在一门心思想着执行任务，结果错把一艘尿处理船当成了敌方的航空母舰并发射了鱼雷。当他被尿处理船救起以后，才知道战争已经结束了。

拥有四万公顷山林和土地、价值七百亿日元的82岁老妇人柳川敏子被三个胆大妄为的年轻人诱拐、劫持。三人提出老人的赎身价为五千万日元，柳川敏子勃然大怒：“痛痛快快要一百亿好了，也免得给后代们丢脸。”不知所措的年轻人反而央求柳川把数额减少一些，决不让步的柳川则开始信心十足地指挥起这场“诱拐战”。警察局长井狩要求通过电视现场直播让柳川与家人见面，以确认其是否安全。柳川则巧妙地指挥电视转播车开到隔谷相见的山间，通过电视指示家人将山林和土地变卖筹款。一百亿日元装上了直升机，柳川又声东击西甩开警察，指挥飞机将钱运到了指定的地点。安全回到家中的柳川内心所感慨的其实是：当自己死后，财产的70%将作为继承税被国家白白掠去，而被拐走一百亿就可以使一百亿财产不被征税。这也就是她利用被诱拐的机会假戏真做的真正原因。
