表面上看来，桃子（冰上恭子 配音）、百合（野上尤加奈 配音）、雏菊（宫村优子 配音）和红花（今井由香 配音）是四个活泼可爱个性开朗的女孩，可是在背地里，她们还有这另一重身份——为了拯救天使界而战斗的“爱天使”。随着时间的推移，曾经激烈的战斗已经成为了过往，过上了平静生活的四人逐渐失去了作为“爱天使”的记忆。
一次旅途中，前往海边度假的四人意外的遭到了妖怪的袭击，之后现身的阿布罗狄女神（病藤真子 配音）恢复了四人的记忆。一枚神秘戒指的出现令来自魔界的普雷（矢尾一树 配音）再度蠢蠢欲动，而这枚戒指不再别处，正巧就在桃子的手中。

从五次元而来的邪恶军团“嘉克帝国”开始准备进攻地球了。而阻挡他们的是从古代开始就保护地球的艾鲁多兰和他所驾驶的雷神王。可是，雷神王被帝国的司令官贝路塞夫卑鄙的手段所伤，而坠落到地球……
雷神王坠落到阳升学园里，艾鲁多兰将操纵雷神王的雷神金属托付给5年3班的学生后逝去……就这样，只有小学生参加的「地球防卫组织」成立。
第二天，嘉克帝国的机器人废气邪恶兽·艾提索斯出现。这时，学生们手中的雷神金属闪耀出光芒，当白鸟玛丽亚将雷神金属放到课桌上时，教室变成了司令部。三位学生日向仁、月城飞鸟和星山吼儿成为了剑王、凤凰和兽王的驾驶员，出击迎战“嘉克帝国”的邪恶兽。
在战斗中，小岛勉发现三台机器人可以合体，三人最后合体成雷神王，成功地打倒了邪恶兽。
就这样，小学生组成的「地球防卫组织」和邪恶的嘉克帝国的战斗开始了……

五次元から悪の軍団ジャーク帝国が地球に攻めてきた。その前へ、地球から飛び出した光が立ちはだかる。古代より地球を守ってきたエルドランが操る、ライジンオーである。しかし、帝国の司令官ベルゼブの卑劣な攻撃によって傷を負ってしまい、地球に落下してしまう。そして、帝国の秘密兵器、アークダーマが大量にばらまかれてしまった。その頃、陽昇学園５年３組は居残り授業の真っ最中。そこへ落ちてゆく。エルドランは生徒たちにライジンメダルを託し、地球防衛を頼んで消える。かくして、小学生だけの「地球防衛組」が誕生した。翌日アークダーマは、排気ガス邪悪獣・エキゾーストを生み出した。そのとき、生徒たちのメダルが輝きだす。白鳥マリアがメダルを机に押し込むと、教室がみるみる司令室に変形した。そして、日向仁は剣王、月城飛鳥は鳳凰、星山吼児は獣王のパイロットになる。やがて、小島勉が３体は合体可能であることを発見。ライジンオーに合体し、邪悪獣を倒したのであった。

The Kingdom of the People of the Earth once ruled over the land, but now all that remains is the Sword of the Earth. in the city of Eindoak.
