《奥克拉荷马》《OK lahoma》是美国音乐界两大宗师合力打造而成。理查罗杰斯作曲，奥斯卡汉默斯坦二世填词。以描述二十世纪初期发生在美国西部乡村的三角恋情故事为主题之划时代歌舞大戏。本片是《奥》剧首次以35厘米电影手法拍摄而成的宽荧屏巨作。堪称为《奥》剧现有版本中，制作及表演菁华极品。因为不仅编舞唯美，配乐悠扬，所参与演出之演员皆为昔日首演的原班人马。《奥》剧所受赞誉之声不绝于耳，屡获大奖；其中一举囊括1999年劳伦斯奥利弗奖中“最佳音乐剧制剧评人奖之最佳音乐剧”等佳绩。此剧由名词曲作家之最佳拍档罗杰斯和汉默斯坦二世和葛莱美奖各两项，奖项之多可谓空前绝后。由主演《X战警》出生于澳大利亚雪梨的休斯·杰克曼、著名女高音歌唱家荷西芬娜·吉柏莉、出生于亚特兰大连纽荣获[奥立佛奖]和[东尼奖最佳男配角]的舒勒·汉斯利、出生于英国约克郡多次赢得[奥立佛奖和Variety Club Award]的玛丽安·利普等联合主演。当时最为风光的音乐剧，在百老汇音乐剧界独占鳌头，尊容无以伦比。

休·杰克曼（Hugh Jackman）近日签约华纳兄弟影片《使徒保罗》（Apostle Paul），这位奥斯卡提名男演员将在片中饰演公元一世纪初传播基督教的著名宗教人物“使徒保罗”。
使徒保罗（公元3年——公元67年），又名圣保罗或圣保禄。他是最具影响力的早期基督教传教士之一，也是第一代基督徒的领导者之一。公元一世纪初他在地中海各地进行基督教的传教活动，足迹遍及小亚细亚、马其顿、希腊及地中海东部各岛。
不过基督教那个时候被罗马皇帝认为是邪教，因此基督徒普遍受到迫害，保罗也曾多次因传教入狱。最后，罗马皇帝尼禄处死了他，再后来梵蒂冈天主教廷将他封圣。
使徒保罗是《圣经·新约》中大部分内容的撰写者，不过拥有犹太血统的他一开始却是基督教的坚定反对者。据说他是一次在前往大马士革的旅途中，遇到耶稣显灵，从此改变了宗教信仰。这段经历也让他的故事更具传奇色彩。
《使徒保罗》由马特·库克（Matt Cook）编剧，本·阿弗莱克（Ben Affleck）和马特·达蒙（Matt Damon）会通过他们的珍珠街制作公司（Pearl Street Films）参与影片的制作，此外休·杰克曼也将担任制片人。
