《美国：向英雄致敬America: A Tribute To Heroes》是号召好莱坞明星及流行乐坛歌手在美国纽约发生911恐怖袭击事件后所举行一场慈善演出节目，除了包括 ABC、CBS、FOX、NBC等全美七家主要电视台、三十一家电视公司联合制播外，全球一百五十六个国家也同步播出这一长达二小时没有广告播出的募款活动。
这场由Bruce Springsteen演唱一曲“My City of Ruin”开场的晚会，参与的好莱坞明星共计有：Al Pacino、Julia Roberts、Tom Cruise、Brad Pitt、George Clooney、Will Smith、Cameron Diaz、Jim Carry等巨星，皆在现场号召大家有钱出钱、有力出力。而担任演唱的歌手们，包括：宣布暂时退出歌坛、在家相夫教子的Celine Dion献唱一曲“God Bless America”；Mariah Carey则在节目中登场演唱“Hero”；拉丁小歌王Enrique Iglesias则演唱一首他的“Hero”。男歌手一字排开，有U2合唱团、Bon Jovi、长青树Steve Wander、Bruce Springsteen、Billy Joe、Neil Young等，共同谱出至情至性的感人弦音。尤其值得一提的是Limp Bizkit一改平日的狂噪献上一曲“Wish You Were Here”感人肺腑。
本次演出现场参加人员明星比例100%，就连不会唱歌的电影明星都上台演讲或接听捐款电话。由于实质为慈善演出，整场曲风柔和令人唏嘘，歌手演出称得上绝对上乘，所以也是欣赏性极高的靓碟
