Depicts Romania during World War II, focusing on the Royal Coup that toppled Ion Antonescu, the Axis-allied Conducător and authoritarian Prime Minister. Focused around the August 23rd 1944 coup against Marshal Antonescu, the movie also tackles other topics from the same era such as the Iron Guard rebellion and the execution of political leaders by communists.

Larisa is 16 and lives in a city by the sea. It's a small city, where gossip and news spread fast. It's a city where your image and influence, "manelele", money and power are all that matters. And Larisa… wants it all. And even if she doesn't have it, she fights for it. Larisa believes in herself. She knows that she deserves better. 21 December 1989. They held street protests in Bucharest against the Ceausescu regime. At nightfall, the authorities retaliates using weaponry against people demonstrating peacefully. A young nurse wakes up at midnight at the door with a teenager injured. Together with her boyfriend, doctor, take him to the hospital where she works. They gave the necessary care. The young man is out of danger. Morning young nurse discovers him in the hospital morgue, shot in the head. Assistance and her boyfriend are pressured to pass Security business silence. Friend gives assistance not. Their relationship is falling apart. For assistance inconvenient witness nightmare begins.
