“Hesitant Alien” is the upcoming solo debut studio album by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way.

The track is taken from the former My Chemical Romance man’s debut solo album, Hesitant Alien, which is out on September 30 through Warner Bros. Records. As of today, you can also now pre-order Hesitant Alien online, and for those who do preorder, you’ll get No Shows as an instant download, as well as the already released Action Cat. Gerard will also be releasing deluxe packages of Hesitant Alien, with an exclusive t-shirt and limited edition Hesitant Alien zine, which was hand-drawn by Gerard himself, and is limited to 5000 copies.
The singer will also be making his first-ever solo appearances in the UK this week – at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms tomorrow, and Reading and Leeds this weekend.

The track was produced by My Chemical Romance collaborator Doug McKean. The album sees Gerard on vocals, guitar and keyboard alongside Ian Fowles of The Aquabats on guitar, Matt Gorney on bass and Jarrod Alexander on drums. Gerard's brother Mikey provides backing vocals on one song.
Everything coalesces into a fist-pumping chorus that’s followed by some hand claps.
“Do you miss me?” he asks in the outro. “‘Cause I miss you.”
